Hemi Charger Regrets

"While looking through some old photos I found a couple that you may find interesting. Back in 1987 my brother's teenage in-laws purchased a really solid 1968 Hemi Charger R/T. It was equipped with a 4-speed and a 3.54 Dana rear. It was one of only 211 '68 Charger R/T Hemi 4-speed cars. If you look you can see the 'Hemi' emblem on the Charger's door. The motor needed a rebuild, so the brothers tore it down, purchased new pistons and planned for the build-up. They eventually lost interest and traded the car (with the original hemi) for a 1970 GTX that was a poor running backyard restoration at best. They of course instantly regretted trading the Charger. I took these photos back in the winter of '87. Even then it was mind-blowing to discover an all original Hemi car and a true 'Hemi (engine) In A Barn'."

Lemans Looking for a Home

"This Lemans is sitting behind the Chevy dealership in Harriston, Ontario. I don't know anything about it. It looks a little rough, but definitely worth saving. I hope someone can rescue this car!"

Free Barn Find Pickup

"This is a 1955 GMC 1st Series 100 five window that I pulled from a barn. The owner was an acquaintance who bought it years ago to restore like one his father had. When I found out he left town and was trying to sell the place, I contacted him and asked him if he would sell it. He said if I pulled it out, I could have it! He even signed the necessary paperwork to help me get it titled. The pictures in the barn show the water line on the door from the flood of 2008. This farm is about 10 miles from Lake Delton, which emptied when a 400’ section of the shore breached and drained the lake into the Wisconsin River."
