Poor Pakistani Scout

"I am working with the United Nations supervising wheat milling operations in Peshawar (Pakistan). Today I visited an old warehouse where some of our wheat is stored and found it was affected badly from the recent rains and flooding in the area. I was checking the status of the damaged wheat and found this old beauty embedded in the mud. The gate keeper there told me it has been sitting there for at least the last 25 years. It appears to be some kind of jeep or pick-up with a deck in the back. It seems to be complete. There is a small plaque on the engine, but all I could make out was 'Made in USA'. Check out the pics and if possible, tell me what it is. Thanks!"

Being the Binder-Nut that I am, I instantly recognized this old relic as an early 60's Scout 80. I'm sure it has an interesting story, but we might never know. I get a few truck pictures from CarsinBarns.com visitors, is this something you'd be interested in seeing more often? Let me know what you think. - Steve
Backroads Barracuda

"I found this '70 Barracuda sitting on a dead end road. I actually took a wrong turn and found it. There was no one home, so I don't know if it's for sale or not. I'm gonna check back pretty soon though."

Just Missed Mustang

"We found this car in a field near our home. It was spotted by my then 8 year old son. It is a complete car and as usual, the old lady that owned the car had someone who was 'going to fix it up'. It had been there for years. Last registered in 1976. Saved up some cash and went back 3 months later, but it had just been pulled out and was gone. Lesson learned! Have cash in hand and be persistent."
