"My father owned 4 Mustangs which died buried in the woods of western New York. This is a '69 Mach 1 SCJ car. This was the only one that has survived intact. It's a 428 Super Cobra-Jet Drag Pack car. Look for pics of the other cars in future updates.

Lifetime Find
"In 2006 I found this car sitting in a garage since the early 90's when the original owner passed away. It took me nearly 4 months to convince the original owner's wife to sell it, she just couldn't sell it because of sentimental reasons and cried often when talking about it. She told me all the stories about the car and that His mom co-signed originally when he bought it. This car has a factory dealer installed 6 pack and also the original intake, carb and air cleaner. The car was last registered in 1980 and has been off the road since. I forgot to mention, it only has 49k original miles and was painted only once in the 80's! I got the car home replaced the fuel tank and rebuilt the carbs and she fired right up! Since then I went through the brakes and put in a new heater core. This car is now currently inspected and on the road again!! The first three pics are when and where I found her, the rest are after a clean up and some elbow grease. This has to be one of the greatest finds!!"

Snowy SS Chevelle
"HI found this one (and bought it) sitting in the woods near my home in Michigan. It's been sitting there for 15+ years. It is an original Chevelle SS 396, 375 HP 4 speed car. I paid 200 bucks for it and drug it (litterally) out of the woods and through the snow. What a shame!"
