They are still out there! I just sold a 6 pack Bee a few months ago and thought that I would never find another. Less than a mile from my house a saw this car in a back yard. I knocked on the door and a man answered and I asked if it was OK to look at the Super Bee. He informed me that it was fine as he was selling it for someone. I confirmed the VIN as WM23M9A and could not believe it. I gave him a $50.00 deposit and headed off to the bank as he would not take a check. One problem, Columbus Day, bank closed. I persuaded him to take a check as I lived less than a mile away. He took it and I now own another 6 Pack Bee. Believe it or not, the owner was going to crush the car with his tractor because he did not think anyone would want it. Only in Alabama! - J.D. |
THERE'S A '69 RUNNER UNDER
THERE. |
I found this car through a few friends (Duane, Mel & Todd) and it was last lic. in 1978. The tranny was toasted that year and the car was parked under a lean-to. About a year ago it was moved across the street into a field and sunk. When I found the car someone had made a deal on it, but over the next week he couldn't come up with the coin so I stepped in and grabbed it. Here's what I got, 1972 Dodge Charger SE Brougham, 400/slapstick auto, F6 on F6 with white top and side stripe (original paint) and 2 fender tags full of options!!!! Anyone with any info on these cars feel free to email me @
