1969 Sport Satellite, 383 2bbl, auto, all complete and actually really solid,
except missing the passenger rear axle.
The attached shot of my 1968 GTX is just prior to having her hauled off. She was parked in perfect condition
in 1989. I'm the second owner and she only had 80K miles with the numbers-matching-440.  ALL stock. Mint.
My now-ex-wife lost/hid/discarded the keys and one thing after another, she sat out in the barnyard while the
wife's 1951 Packard sat inside. The underbody of the GTX rotted, the engine stuck a ring resulting in a broken
piston when trying to start it in 2001. - RICH

September of 99 a flood took out a lot of old cars in eastern NC. This is one of many victims.
The state bought out several yards that were close to the rivers and brought in the crushers.
Now that's just plain sad. Don't crush em restore em!!!  I think idiots run those crushers sometimes.- KIPP
ABOVE AND BELOW:  I went to a Kruse International Auction a few years ago that was held at a "junkyard".
Story was, the owner of the land had a used car dealership, and when a car didn't sell in a certain
amount of time, it wound up here to rot into the earth.  There were 600 cars at this auction, and most
of them sold for under $100.  ALL of them were complete. 1968 Roadrunner, 383 car, auto, original pale
yellow car. A couple of trim pieces missing, but engine and tranny still there.  sold $145 -BILL MOORE
1967 Dodge RT, 440 auto car, 100% complete, sold for $225
