 Here is a true barn
find. It is a 68 Roadrunner that came out of a barn in OK. It had been
parked since 76. The paint job is the original, it has one small rust
hole on the passenger side quarter panel the rest is surface rust. You
can see the red dust on the car still while it is sitting on the
trailer. I have already put road wheels on it and painted the engine
compartment and dropped in a 440 in it. |
I saved this one. Owner was restoring
and didn't have the time or means to do it. It's a 68 Satellite, slant 6,
auto on the column, bench seat. The car was surprisingly solid and complete,
needing only 1/4 panels. Even the interior is mint. Drove her home for only

 I picked up
this 70 sport satellite last week in NY. Was supposedly on the road
in 88. It basically sat rotting in the original owners yard for the
last 17+ years. It is a fairly original car with entire drive train
and interior. Was originally pretty well equipped, 383-2, 727 & an 8
3/4 rear end. Also had bucket seats, console, light package, rocker
moldings and dealer installed black vinyl top. Sorry to say the
frame and floors were completely gone. The torsion bar broke away
front the frame as it was loaded on my trailer. No way to save it so
I have begun parting it out as a donor for my 70 GTX. Sure would
like to have seen this car in its prime. Joe
