This is the
result of a wicked burn out gone bad. Hit 2nd, go straight for the ditch. OUCH. It's been sitting in this very spot since then. It was a tough phone call to make to tell him the bad news, but I promised to someday fix it when I could afford to do so. |

This car was bought by a buddy of mine in Scarborough Ontario Canada, in 74, he was 17 at the time, and drove it till the 383 Magnum dropped a valve in 79. It sat in storage till the early 80's, when it received a 440 Magnum from a 69RT and then it was mobile, but still not on the road. It was stored here and there till 87, when I volunteered to "store it" for him. Needless to say it wasn't up on blocks. |
I've had dozens of phone calls and knocks at the door from everyone from scrap collectors to starry eyed kids asking if it was for sale. My dedication has paid off, it is now officially mine, and I have acquired a complete rust free Coronet Deluxe slant six, three in the tree converted to auto from Nevada. The rebuild IS underway and no, "they are not for sale" -Bruce |
