CLASSICS IN BARNS
PAGE 17 |
My grandfather purchased the 1930
Chevrolet from his cousin who bought it now. It seems his mother died in
the car and he never drove it again and parked it in the barn. The barn
fell in on it and my grandfather purchased it then in 1959. I can always
remember it being in the barn. Sometime in the late 70's early 80's he
gave me the car. After moving back home in 2001, I finally got a garage
built in 2003 and in November I got it out of the barn and am currently
restoring it. It has 25,000 actual miles on it. No one knew the
car was here and I am glad. Dennis |
