" BOWTIES IN BARNS - PAGE #
64" |
This Camaro is in a back yard in
Pennsylvania that I've been trying to buy for years and finally gave up.
It's really rotten and the owner has the usual story. It has a 4bbl
small block and a four speed and the fenders are in the shed. The owner
has a beautiful 62 vette and you would think he would at least put it in a
garage. Oh Well. |
I had been looking for a 12 bolt rear
end for my 70 Chevelle, my brother in law thought there might be a car like
that not too far from his property. I investigated and was able to
purchase what was left of the car on Christmas day. The owner had been
home visiting his mother on Christmas day. It had been next to a shed
that had burned down many years ago so there wasn't much left except the
running gear. This was a SS 396, disc brakes, ect. |
1970 Chevelle I saved from upstate
Pennsylvania. Looked like a stocker nothing car from the road, until
curiosity got the best of me. 350-300 horse, Muncie 4-speed, factory
tach and gauges, 12 bolt, disc brakes, 50,000 original miles, stock
everything. Rusted beyond repair. |
