I
have been trying to buy this car for 2 years. I was in a bar
talking about cars with some friends when someone I have known for a
while tells me their ex-brother-n-law parked a convertible Lemans in
their shed about 17 years ago. It has never moved since. The
next day I go by his house to check it out and sure enough the car is in
an overgrown shed but it's not a Lemans, it's a 68 GTO Convertible 4-spd
400 with hide away head lights, the body looks really straight and the
interior is ok too. I ask my friend to find out if it's for sale,
he thinks it probably will be because it's been there for so long
and soon he wants to rebuild the shed and be able to store his own
things in it. The car takes up a lot of space. NO, not for
sale. Jim tells him the car will have to go soon, he is rebuilding
the shed and would like the car off his land. 2 years go by and
multiple times trying to get this guy to sell the car. He calls
him and gives him a month to get it out or sell it or the car is getting
pulled out and put down in the woods. The guy gets a little mad
and tells him the car will never be for sale. It's been a month
and these are the pics of the car now. I also talked with the
owners mom, she said he has 4 or 5 cars at his house that are rotting
away. Once he owns something he never gets rid of it. I
think this car should get rotter of the year. More
