BELOW: This car has an interesting history. So the story goes , in 1969 after returning from Vietnam , a guy by the name of Bruce Ericsson went into his local Chevy dealership in California and bought 2 identical 69 Z/28's.One for a tow car and one purely to
race. They were silver with black stripes. The race car was then painted up like this in 1971 by a guy named Kovacs from Fresno. This is the racer and when found had been sitting behind a shed since 1974. I want to restore it to race condition how it was back then but need help with info/pics on either the car or Bruce himself. If you can help please email me (bad69z@interact.net.au) I will be very grateful for any help.

Here is a 1969 Z/28 that has been in Australia since about 1974. I found this one by tracking down a lead on a Cross Ram for a 302. After meeting Rob , the owner , I tried in vain for a couple of years to buy it from him but gave up and have since become great friends and I am now helping him restore it. It is not as bad as it looks and has absolutely no rust in it ! Scrounging for parts he not only has a Cross Ram for it but a NOS 302 motor as well. -
