Here is a pic of an original 69 Camaro RS/SS. The mother bought it new, the son ran the 327 out of oil
and locked it up, and it has been sitting for 3 -1/2 to 4 yrs now. I talked to the son 2 yrs ago, he was going to
"fix it up," but you see how far he got. At least they put on a new tarp when the old ones rot away. - JC
Here's a 66 Chevelle that was given to my friend as partial payment for some body work. It is even worse
than it looks. It has some frame rot, the trunk floor is gone. When the tow truck delivered it I opened the
trunk lid, which wasn't latched because the latch was missing, and the hinges weren't even bolted on either,
the only thing that kept the trunk lid from blowing off was the leaves stuffed in the jambs. But it is a small block
car with buckets and console.- JC
My brother and myself stopped here at least 10 yrs ago because my brother was into VWs and this yard was
full of them at the time. I went by there a couple of weeks ago and seen this 69 Gran Prix (and remembered it
from my first visit), and still it sits rotting, but all Vee Bubs are gone. Go figure.
