Here's a pic of my '67 Shelby GT500 I got that's been sitting for awhile. The other is a '66 Shelby GT350H Hertz rent-a-car in original Blue & Gold (one of 56 made). It's now rescued after years of sitting in a field, but the floors are gone. |
Here is a 67
GT 350 that I found one mile from my best friends house. (this is how it was when I bought it) Had been sitting for 12 years in the same spot. Had a chain around the steering
column, shifter handle and brake pedal. steering wheel was in the
house. all four wheels and tires were off. only way to steal this one was drag it on a
rollback. Had not been fired up in 12 years. got it home and worked on it for a hour and drove it . Very
bad driver with 23 year old rotten tires. J.M |
A
buddy of mine heard about this car and we went to take a look. We found this 70 cougar eliminator with 40000 original miles had been sitting in a bard for 25 years. seems the owners wife wrecked the front drivers side and he went and bought a fender and hood but never finished it. That was in 1976 and now
I own it. It is a 351c 4bbl 300hp three speed on the floor. Rare!! Now restoring it. -Baczynski |
