It had a M code 351 and manual transmission. He was going to restore it some day. Yeah right. After settling on a fair price which included a ton of new and used parts. Bumpers etc. I towed the car home put a new gas tank and battery and it fired up. I opened up the trunk and found even more new parts. I later sold the car for a nice profit and still looking for that special car parked in
someone's field or barn. Great site! Bob |
I live in California and mustangs are hard to find in stock original condition. I was driving in a neighborhood near home and spotted this Mach 1 sitting on the driveway. I stopped and knocked on the door. No one answered so I left a note asking if the car was for sale. As time went by I forgot about the car when the phone rang about 9 months later! The gentleman stated that the car belonged to his 93 year-old-uncle who cannot drive anymore. I bolted over there and found a stock 93,000 mile car. One owner since 1971!. |
