Here's a 1970 Mercury Cyclone Spoiler 429 Cobra-jet
waiting to be dismantled.
It's been sitting since 1992.  The drive train is going into a cobra kit car.
Nice solid body--hopeful he'll sell me the body.  - Jim
BELOW:  1964 GALAXIE 500 CONVERTIBLE.
The car is complete from top to bottom, all the hubcaps, trim and everything is there, just rotting away.
I have never talked to the owner, but I have heard from people that know him that it was well known in
the area, with a show winning engine bay and a worked over 289.  I'm told that one time he either blew the
engine or the transmission in it and parked it there, where it has sat for the last 30 years or so.  Of course, this
original and complete piece of automotive history is not for sale, every panel is rotted to death except the roof,
and I really  wonder if this car could even be resurrected at this point. - Josh Alloway

Here is a picture of a 65 or 66 Mustang coupe near where I live. I've gotten up to it and looked at it pretty close, its a 289, 4spd car, and was once green with a white interior. From what I can make out from the almost rotted off license plates, it appears as though the car has been parked there since about 1970 or so.
